Haha ik ken het...heb ooit één keer echt heel rustig aan gedaan en toen haalde ik 1 op 12 op LPG! Maar het gemiddelde is toch echt 1 op 8

Ik vind een verschil tussen 1 op 13 en 1 op 15,5 toch nog wel aardig wat. Temeer omdat de W124 zwaarder is.

835 km gereden op 70 liter. Paar stadsritjes, rest snelweg gem. 105 km/u, maar ook 100km lang 140 km/u.

Komt neer op 1:12. Best netjes vind ik.

Ik heb ergens gelezen dat de achtklepper viercilindermotoren met 1,8, 2,0 en 2,3 liter allemaal nagenoeg hetzelfde verbruiken. Als ik op kijk, wordt dit ook bevestigd.

Ik wil dit topic toch graag een schopje geven want ik zit met het volgende:

Ik vind mijn Benz teveel verbruiken voor hoe ik em gebruik

Ik rij 5x in de week naar werk (35 km per dag totaal voor heen en terug)
Ik rij 2x in de week naar sport (8 km per keer totaal voor heen en terug)
Ongeveer 3 keer per week ritje van minder dan 5 kilometer totaal (supermarkt enzo)

Uitzonderingen daargelaten maak ik niet bijzonder veel kilometers maar ik vind niet dat ik alleen korte stukjes rij. Ik heb de laatste weken zuinig gereden en niet lopen trappen.

Toch is het maximale wat ik haal 1:8,7 en 1:9

Dit is toch niet normaal voor een 2.0e benzine, handgeschakeld uit 1986 ???
Ik heb de auto nu wel op winterbanden staan maar toch.

Bouchies nieuw, verdelerkap nieuw, motorolie nieuw, lucht/olie/benzine filters nieuw, multiriem nieuw en de motor loopt verder lekker. Ik moet binnenkort alleen de middendemper vervangen want deze is lek aan 2 kanten. (demper al thuis, dit weekend maar eens doen)

Ik wil de wagen nog laten uitlijnen en dan denk ik dat ik alles in mijn macht heb gedaan om deze zo goed mogelijk te krijgen.

Is het een optie om bij de lokale Mercedes dealer de motor opnieuw te laten stellen? Kan zoiets? Ik heb wel een soort plug gezien waarvan je zou denken dat je daar een diagnosemachine op kunt zetten maar heeft een lokale Mercedes garage dit soort apparatuur nog wel voor een auto van 25 jr en veel belangrijker: De expertise????

Lang verhaal, zijn er mensen die ervaringen hiermee hebben of tips?

(Ow, en ja ik haal de handrem eraf tijdens het rijden en de bandenspanning is precies goed! )

Ik zit op LPG en de kou op ongeveer 1:7

Ik vind je verbruik niet schrikbarend hoog. Die korte ritjes zijn zeker ook stadsverkeer? (50 km/u max, veel stoplichten, vaak optrekken)

Ja klopt, en veel drempels... een absolute nachtmerrie bij mij in het dorp en aanliggende plaatsen. Ik kan er niet meer uithalen? Hmmm mompel mompel (gaat alles nog eens overdenken)

Met onze 1.8E Automaat komen we tussen de 1 op 9 en krap 1 op 10.
En dan maakt het niet uit of het mijn vrouw of ikzelf rijdt.
Haar rit is 21 heen en 21 terug over 50 en 80 wegen. Ik rij 15 km stad en
30 snelweg en terug andersom. Merk dat de auto op de snelweg veel toeren draait.
Het is een (te) kleine motor voor een 190 en dat merk je terug in het verbruik.
Eigenlijk zou ik liever een 2.3 8v of als die niet te vinden is zoals ik hem wil, een 2.0. willen,
iets meer vermogen en misschien een gelijk of zuiniger verbruik.

Ik vind niet dat de motoren van de 190 onderbemeten zijn. Ze missen gewoon een 5e versnelling of een langere 4e. Mercedes was een van de laatste fabrikanten die nog handgeschakelde vierbakken toepaste. Voor nog geen 1000 Mark kon je overigens optioneel de 5-bak bestellen. Vergeet ook niet dat het nu harstikke normaal is 120 te rijden op de snelweg; dat was 20/25 jaar geleden net ff anders.

Mijn 1.8 is snel genoeg bij het accelereren. Hij maakt alleen net zoals de jouwe teveel toeren op de snelweg. Tenzij ik haast heb rijd ik altijd 100 op de snelweg. Ik rijd zelden in de spits, dus ik rijd niemand in de weg.

Ik rijd 1 op 7 op LPG met mijn 1.8 automaat

Mijn vriendin rijd nu met haar 190 2.0 benzine 1 op 8 a 9 met 4 bak.

Ze heeft voor de 190 een 230CE gehad met dus de 2.3 8v 102 motor en die reed makkelijk 1 op 11 met 4 bak.

Ik rijd gemiddeld 1 op 10 met mijn 190E 2.0 automaat uit 1984, op de snelweg bij 100 km p/u zelfs 1:12.5 .
Ben daar zeer tevreden mee, ongeveer net zo duur als mijn ex W202 5-bak 1.8 uit 1996.

In 12 jaar tijd is er dus redelijk weinig vooruitgang geboekt mbt verbruik.

Verder heb ik een 280 SLC automaat uit 1979, die doet op de snelweg 1:10 bij 100 km/u, ook een fantastisch gemiddelde. In de stad wel flink duurder ( 1 op 6 a 7 ).
Voordeel van de SLC is dat ik er vaak mee naar de Ardennen ga, en op de terugweg even de Luxemburgse grens overwip, 90 liter tanken ( ! ) a 1.24 Euro !
Eigenlijk tank ik met die auto bijna alleen maar in Luxemburg, dan is klassiek rijden helemaal goed te doen !

Mijn schoonvader had trouwens een Suzuki Alto die 1 op 11 a 12 reed op de snelweg, waarom zou je dan geen Benz rijden, voor het zelfde geld ?
