@ Bassje:
motortemperatuur: normaal zit' ie op 80°, nu liep het wat op tot (ik kan het op de meter niet goed zien) ik denk 90 á 100°.
hulpveren: als je naar de derde foto (zonder passagiers) kijkt, dan zie je dat 'ie best mooi ligt. Mijn zoon van 21 en dochter van 19 gaan zelden meer mee op vakantie, dus dan is het niet zo nodig. Ik ben bang voor te hoog op de wielen en stuggere vering.

@ Ruub-ster: tja, met wind mee moet het toch kunnen, zou ik denken. Veel gewichtige passagiers en bagage? Maar idd, ik zou ook aarzelen.

Ik ga alleen, en bagageverdeling is dan stukken makkelijker, zwaar spul zoals bier en wat gereedschap naast je voorin etc.

Die hulpveren heb je met 'weinig' kogeldruk niet nodig, een caravan heeft een heel goed verdeelt gewicht meestal.

Ik ben er in ieder geval uit dat ik een Hobby Prestige 610 niet mee kan nemen de portugeese bergen in :P

Aangezien ik nu alleen nog 'maar' in de W201 rijdt, en die wel een trekhaak heeft, zal ik eens kijken of ik morgen een karretje aankanpikken en die even zwaar belasten. en dan ga ik er eens een stukkie snelweg/bochten mee pakken. Kijken hoe dat wil.

Heb het dus niet kunnen proberen, dit omdat er alleen een tweeasser beschikbaar was en het is nogal moeilijk manouvreren op de plek van bestemming.. Maandag maar even kijken

Ik trek bijna dagelijks een 2 paardstrailer met 1 paard erin met mijn W201.
Dit gaat prima, er zitten wel stevigere veren achter gemonteerd. I.c.m monroe schokkers.

Wel vindt ik dat de te lange 4de versnelling niet prettig is met lasten trekken.

Die Monroe schokbrekers heb ik ook, zijn een stuk stugger dan de originele.

JA Bas, daar heb ik inderdaad 'last' van. Nu heb ik ook gelijk de veren vervangen, end ie leveren natuurlijk ook extra tegendruk op omdat ze nieuw zijn. Als ik nu hard over een hobbel heenrijdt, is te merken dat achter meer 'klapt' zeg maar.

Overigens is het wel een zegen om weer in de 190 te rijden, Met de cabrio moet je voor elke hobbel bijna stilstaan door dat massale gewicht. ook de kleine bodenvrijheid is een ramp.

Regelmatig een paardentrailer of een enkelassertje voor 't werk achter de auto. Best een fijne trekauto ondanks zijn 4-bak en 109pk. Heb deze auto o.a. gekocht omdat ie meer (1500 ipv 1200 kilo) mag trekken dan mijn vorige Peugeot 405
