Beste W201-Forumleden,

Hiermee stel ik mij graag even aan jullie voor.
Sinds juni jl. ben ik in het bezit van een W201 van april 1993: een 190E 1.8 Class. Kleur Blauschwarz Metallic.
Dus een van de laatste 190's en bovendien in een (voor die tijd) goed aangeklede uitvoering.
Ik heb de auto van de eerste eigenaresse mogen overnemen (ze wilde hem alleen aan een liefhebber verkopen). De auto ziet er van binnen nog keurig uit. De bekleding is nog als nieuw en omdat de auto altijd netjes binnen heeft gestaan zijn bekleding en dashboard niet verkleurd of verweerd.
De lak vraagt wel wat extra zorg, vandaar dat de auto nu bij de spuiter staat (vogelpoep maakt als je het laat zitten écht gaten in je lak!) en binnenkort nog eens naar de professionele autopoetser en deukendokter gaat om de ergste sporen van 24 jaar gebruik weg te werken. Daarna gewoon lekker sturen met deze fijne auto.
Het is naast onze R107 van 1982 onze tweede 'klassieke' Mercedes (we hebben voor het dagelijkse vervoer ook een recente A- en C-klasse). Bijgaand plaatjes van onze W201 en R107.
Op het forum van de W201-club.nl denk ik goede adviezen en informatie te vinden over de W201 en leuke contacten met gelijkgezinden.
