Goedendag,

enkele dagen geleden heb ik een 190E gekocht in erg goede staat, tot nu toe ben ik erg tevreden maar er zijn toch nog een aantal dingen die mijn nieuwsgierigheid opwekken. Één van die dingen is een knopje op het dashboard waar ik de werking niet van kan achterhalen. In de owner's manual staat het niet, een zoektocht op internet levert ook weinig op..
Ik heb een foto toegevoegd- ik doel op het middelste knopje. Dit is overigens niet de binnenverlichting boven de hoedenplank..
Heeft iemand toevallig enig idee wat het zou kunnen zijn?

Niet origineel W201 knop maar van een W123.
Is normaal gesproken voor het leeslampje achter.

Okee, duister dan waarom de vorige eigenaar het erin heeft gezet aangezien er al een knop zat voor de leesverlichting.. In ieder geval bedankt voor de reactie!

Opvulling mogelijk :)
Normaal hoort die knop met het plaatje dan 90 graden gedraaid links van je Km teller te zitten boven dat rooster :)

Bij mij is er het schuifdak op aangesloten :lol:

Even 'n ander vraagje bij mij is dat paneel waar die schakelaars inzitten beschadigd.
Wou net 'n foto plaatsen maar zag dit al staan, heeft er mischien nog iemand zoiets ?

En het rechtse knopje vind ik zeker zo opmerkelijk, (doet me denken aan pac-man)
Waar is deze voor?

Is de middelste niet als startonderbreking in gebruik? (zelf gemaakt)

Is niks in vergelijk met het mijne, je mag dan ook niet te hard op de schakelaar drukken.
Toen ik de mijn gekocht heb was het al zwaar beschadigd, maar het werkt nog steeds.

Is natuurlijk gekomen tijdens het inbouwen van het schuifdak.
Het was ook 'n heel gedoe om die schakelaars netjes terug te plaatsen, weet ik nog goed.
Op de meest rechtse schakelaar zit bij mij 'n dopje met 'n gaatje erin.

Klopt, dat 3hoekige deel was €16,- zonder btw geloof ik :lol:
Ook vrij makkelijk te monteren
Roostertjes met een tangetje met een doekje in de bek eruit trekken (tegen beschadiging) en in de gleuf van de schuifschakelaar zit een inbusje. Dan is het een kwestie van handig inschuiven van het nieuwe dashboardstukje. Het was iets van eerst onder de linkerkant onder de tellerbak schuiven zo uit mijn blote hoofd...

Zoals het bij mij zit: het meest rechtse knopje is het schuifdak. De leesverlichting zit wel degelijk links van het stuur en werkt ook- alleen dat middelste knopje heeft geen merkbaar effect.. maar als het er later in gezet is kan het natuurlijk alles zijn. Ik kwam gisteren ook naast de trekknop om de motorkap te openen ook nog een klein tuimelschakelaartje zonder merkbaar nut tegen..

Dus het antwoord wist je zelf al...
je hebt 2x die knop 1tje werkt en zit op de originele plek.
Trek die andere eruit en je weet of er kabels aanzitten ofniet :)

Bij mij zat ook zo'n derde schakelaar die fungeerde als handmatige startonderbreking
