Je hebt gelijk Bas, maar iets langer is niet direct levensgevaarlijk.
Maar 5 jaar is echt het minimum bedoelde ik.

Nadeel van remvloeistof is dat het vocht aantrekt [hygrostaties ] en dat vocht werkt weer kookpuntverlagend en zorgt er voor dat er ook roest ontstaat in metalen remleidingen vandaar het advies om ongeveer om de 2 jaar je remvloeistof te verversen grt hans

Dat is bij bijna alle automerken 2 jaar. En meestal word de hydraulische koppeling dan vergeten hetgeen zo simpel te doen is. Ik heb er een soort spuit voor van Leitenberger die op perslucht werkt en je eerst het reservoir leegzuigt, vult met nieuwe remvloeistof en dan 1 voor 1 per wiel gaat doen, ondertussen vul ik het reservoir steeds bij. Binnen een half uur ben ik klaar met deze klus.
