Ik weet wel dat er ooit eens een Mercedes W201 cabrio gemaakt is maar volgens mij is deze nooit echt in productie gekomen .weet wel dat ze zeldzaam zijn .

Volgens mij heeft Mercedes-Benz er zelf een handjevol gemaakt. Wat vaker voorkwam, is dat carrosseriebouwers zelf een W201 cabrio ontwierpen en die vervolgens verkochten.

Toevallig staat er een stukje van in een blad wat ik besteld heb uit 1987.

Zal eens kijken voor een fototje van dat artikel.

Een tijdje terug stond er nog een zwarte cabrio te koop op marktplaats ! De vraagprijs was €8000,- geloof ik.

Nog eentje gevonden in duitsland €20 800,-

Het ziet er al snel uit als een bij elkaar geraapt zooitje... hier en daar wat hout, vreemd stuurtje, volgens mij een kleur interieur die nooit leverbaar was.


En een andere motorkap. vreselijke velgen en een vraagprijs om van te huilen :(

Niet echt een cabrio.
Eerder een landaulette.
Als het niet standaard is, dan betwijfel ik ook de stijfheid van het chassis.
Een landaulette is wel stijver dan een cabrio, tenzij de bodem verzwaard en versterkt is. Dan weegt de wagen wel 2 keer zo veel (bij wijze van spreken).
