Waar dient dit ventiel voor ?

Ik heb op mijn schutbord ( van een 1.8 injectie ) een ventiel zitten, ziet er me niet echt origineel uit , aan de ene kant is het aangesloten op iets wat tussen de leiding van mijn verwarming zit. Lijkt me een klep te zijn die opengaat naargelang temperatuur van het koelwater en aan de andere kant zit het aangesloten op de slang die naar de stappenmotor gaat.

Niks van elektrische aansluiting ... geen idee wat het is en dus ook niet of ik het nodig heb.

Edit: tweede foto is wat onduidelijk maar het onderdeeltje zit dus op de tube die naar de stappenmotor gaat tussen de twee spanklemmen.

Waarschijnlijk een milieu systeem uit Duitsland, waarschijnlijk een koudeloop om de katalysator sneller warm te krijgen.

Die pijp met katalysator ga ik er vanonder smijten en vervangen door de pijp van eentje zonder. Na 30 jaar betrouw ik dat ding niet meer. Als dit relevant is voor de Kat. Gaat het er ook vantussen.

Kaltlaufregler .... “kaltlauf” die is hier niet zo schitterend. Die mag gaan dus, bedankt.

Ik heb dat zelfde onderdeel in mn auto zitten, en kamp momenteel met veel start problemen maar kan iemand mij ook vertellen hoe je die verwijdert en de rest van de slangen weer op aan sluit ?

Bedankt voor je bericht ! Ik volg je redelijk alleen begrijp niet waar ik de 2de slang weer op door moet verbinden, hier wat foto's en weet je toevallig ook welke koppelingen en slangen ik moet hebben ?

Moet ik eens een stuk of tien van bestellen .... voorlopig neem ik een stukje leiding, beetje TEC7 er in en een kleine schroef er achteraan. Niet elegant maar het werkt.

Ik heb ook nog een Volvo 740 waar het EGR system van “geannuleerd” is ... en dat waren veel slangetjes en het is verder wel handig om op voorraad te hebben.
