Goedeavond iedereen,
ik ben volkomen nieuw op dit forum en heb sinds onlangs een W201 2.5diesel met AMG-pakketje aangekocht en wil nu graag nieuwe velgen kopen voor eronder. Het zou gaan over Bola Wheels 8.0J x 18 de wagen is niet verlaagd en doordat het nieuwe velgen zijn kan ik de ET-waarde nog kiezen, deze ligt tussen ET30 tot ET45.
Dus graag zou ik jullie advies hebben omtrent welke ET-waarde ik best zou kiezen, zou heel graag de wielen wilen laten aansluiten tot aan de kas.

18 inch??
persoonlijk zou ik dat niet doen
want ben bang dat je dan wel een erg stuiterende auto krijgt
en dat hele dunne laagje rubber wat ze dan nog band noemen
wordt erg duur

Ik rij in de zomer met 17 inch 8J ET35 rond met een band van 205 40 achter en 195 40 voor. Met verlagingsveren uiteraard.
Ik vind 18 inch niet passen onder een 190. is natuurlijk ieder zijn smaak.
Er kwam ooit eens iemand bij mij langs op 18 inch. en die 190 stond er als een haan bij.. Veel te hoog. en die velgen zijn veel te groot voor een W201 die een smalle afwerking heeft.
een W124 ok, daar kan je 18-19 inch kwijt. maar in een W201 is het verpest

Dank u wel voor al de informatie en ieder zijn advies,
maar ben toch ingegaan om velgen te kopen in 18inch, 18x8.0 en met banden 215/40/R18 erop, velgen worden volgende week geleverd bij de velgenboer en dan plaats ik wel enkele foto's. Voor mensen die ook dezelfde interesse hebben ET-waarde is bij 40 gebleven. Velgen kunnen wel niet onder verlaagde wagen maar met de standaard ophanging is het totaal geen probleem, heb via de velgenboer iemand kunnen contacteren die dezelfde velgen onder een W201 heeft gestoken en had er totaal geen probleem mee maar inderdaad de wagen loopt "iets" harder.

Helaas niet, W201 gebruikt M12 bouten. W176 M14 bouten. Is dus niet veilig te monteren op beide wagens.

A aaahn okido alweer iets bij geleerd. Alvast bedankt. Heb de velgenboer gecontracteerd en mocht het niet lukken krijg ik een waardebon voor andere velgen doordat de velgen van Engeland worden geïmporteerd. Alvast bedankt voor ieder zijn mening en advies

Heb al meerdere 190's gehad (ook plat op de grond, zie mijn verschillende 'project' topic's) en ik hou het toch bij maximaal 17" voor een 190. Bij 18" wordt de band de plat en heb je veel te weinig comfort. Vond 205 40 17 een perfecte maat voor een verlaagde 190.

De velgen zitten eronder en passen toch redelijk fraai volgens mij. Door de ET-waarde op 40 te houden zal ik wel een klein spoorverbreder steken vanachteren zodanig dat de wielkas mooi gevuld toont.

Inderdaad ieder zijn smaak, ik vind grotere velgen vaak wel mooi maar 18" vind ik bij een W201 niets té.. zoiets als een klein ventje die de veel te grote schoenen van zijn vader heeft aangedaan
Ik denk dat 16" (max 17") bij een W201 meer in verhouding is

Het model velgen bevalt me wel, alleen met 18" kloppen de proporties naar mijn mening niet. Welk model velgen is het eigenlijk?

Staat niet verkeert, vind ze ook niet groot lijken onder de auto waarschijnlijk door het model velg wat je gekozen heb
Wat ik persoonlijk wel nog net wat beter zou vinden staan, voor iets verlagen.
