Oliefiltervraag

Heb bij dealer een nieuwe oliefilter gehaald (op kenteken en motornr).
Nou is deze filter korter dan degene die erin zit!
Begrijp dat er dus 2 'maten' zijn. Klopt het dat ze beide gewoon gemonteerd kunnen worden?

Waarschijnlijk is de korte de originele en de lange een imitatie of een van een grotere motor. Beide zijn prima te gebruiken, soms wordt de langere geadviseerd.
