Hallo allen,

Ik ben bezig met de 16V om die zo goed mogelijk aan het lopen te krijgen, dat doet ie ook al wel, echter ik heb wat gelezen over de onsteking stelknop voor verschillende brandstof kwaliteiten. Ik wil de auto maximaal goed laten lopen op 100/102 octane.

Ik ben al te weten gekomen dat de knop niet voor elk type 190 hetzelfde werkt in 1 dezelfde stand. Zo heb ik geen 'S' en 'N' in de schaalverdeling staan maar een nummering van 1 t/m 7.

Er zit er een achter de accu en een bij de ontstekingsmodule
Een heeft inderdaad 1 tm7 en de ander heeft de s en n standen

Dit is hem en hij staat op 3 overigens. Is dit ontsteking of brandstof? Er zijn dus 2 verschillende..?

ja bij de ontsteking de andere computer op het linker voorscherm (bestuurders kant) zit de andere knop

ik begrijp dat de gene bij de ecu op 3 staat dat betekent volgens mij dat alles qua milieu uit staat
je zou eens kunnen proberen deze weer op 1 te zetten en dan kijken hoe je blok loopt

doe dit trouwens wel als je motor uit is!!

Gezien het bouwjaar ('85) is het goed mogelijk dat je geen EZL stelknop hebt voor het octaan gehalte van de brandstof. Je moet dus zorgen dat de ontsteking mechanisch goed is afgesteld op het juiste tijdstip.

en dat moet tussen de 12-13 graden, geloof ik :laugh: (de afstelling van ontsteking)
had toen ook laten doen door een Mercedes dealer die er verstand van had. het luistert best nauw, ga het niet zelf doen; 99% kans dat je het verpest

Tinus, hier heb je de originele service handleiding om het ontstekingstijdstip af te stellen. In jou geval moet je de TSZ instructies volgen. Er staat ook iets vermeld over hoeveel graden je mag afwijken als het octaangehalte anders is.
