LPGers, ik heb een Lavato gasinstallatie. Ik zoek zeer dringend info over hoe je rechtstreeks op LPG kan starten. Momenteel is mijn gasinstallatie dusdanig ingesteld dat hij pas start als de auto warmer is dan 40 graden.
Echter mijn motor krijgt geen benzine, kan de accumulator zijn van de brandstofpomp, of een probleem met de injectie. Hoe dan ook is de brandstofdruk hoogstwaarschijnlijk te laag.

Terug naar Lavato, ik heb het model RID GPL RGE090, in de cabine heb ik een simpel rechthoekig kastje , rechtsboven 1 rood ledje, linksonder 1 rood ledje en verder aan de linkerkant 4 groene ledjes.

Is er iemand die dit herkent en mij kan vertellen hoe ik een noodstart kan maken op LPG?

Toch zou een foto van jou schakelaar het zoeken makkelijker maken. Als je die hebt kunnen we verder zoeken.

Zou je mij een PB willen sturen met je mailadres. Hoe ik de foto ook verklein en bewerk, ik krijg alleen letters in mijn bericht, via de mail kan ik foto volgens mij wel als bijlage sturen. Wellicht krijg jij de foto dan wel op de site?

Josef, mocht je nog eens in je wagen komen vandaag. kun je die schakelaar eraf halen, moet ergen een nummer staan. Heb vanalles gezien maar niet deze. Wellicht een onbekend merk of al ouder? Als je het nummer hebt hoor ik het graag. Lavato is alleen je verdamper.

Toch nog even weg geweest naar de auto. kastje losgemaakt van het dashboard. Alle kanten bekeken, geen nummer te zien. Kastje zat bevestigd met dubbelzijdige tape, tape met wasbenzine eraf gehaald, resultaat...niets. eerlijk gezegd zit het momenteel niet mee.
Kortom het gaat erg lastig worden om de auto op gas aan de gang te krijgen.

Morgen willen we met een compressor druk proberen op te bouwen zodat de injectie de benzine toch in het blok krijgt.
Wordt vervolgd.

Contact aanzetten, knop indrukken (of een aantal seconden vasthouden) en dan starten? Starten met de knop in? Zoiets simpels zal het zijn.

Dat is een gok... is niet specifiek lovato, wel een gebruikelijke 'noodprocedure' van andere merken. Ff proberen dus.

Maarre... droog lopen kunnen heel wat onderdelen van het benzinesysteem slecht tegen, dus of het verstandig is om zo kilometers te gaan maken... misschien kan een K-jet er wel tegen, maar een L-jet in elk geval niet. ik zou het niet durven aanraden in elk geval.

Eh, wacht eens... compressor.... je gaat toch niet proberen je benzinetank onder druk te zetten he? Dan ben ik blij een eind bij je vandaan te wonen

Klinkt alsof je gewoon met spoed een monteur nodig hebt die jouw benzine probleem oplost, ipv allerlei noodoplossingen die het alleen maar erger maken!

Nou, door met de compressor de tank op druk te zetten zal je niet snel de ontbrandingstemperatuur bereiken. Dat bedoelde ik dus niet.

Maar onze plaatstalen benzinetanks zijn niet gemaakt voor overdruk, is maar dunne plaat en een platte vorm. Niet voor niets zijn gastanks en compressortanks rond en veel dikker. Zet je een druk op je benzinetank die enigszins de moeite waard is om je probleem op te lossen, dan zal ie waarschijnlijk gaan lekken/scheuren/barsten/vervormen. Gevolg, een hoop benzine in je auto, vieze bende, brandgevaar, kortom: wil je niet...

Als je pomp het gewoon doet waarom moet je dan druk op de tank gaan zetten? De pomp levert, zonder overdrijven, ruim tien keer meer druk dan de tank aankan. Of als de pomp het wel doet, maar gewoon geen spanning krijgt, dan zet je er toch even zelf 12 volt op? Veel makkelijker dan de tank op druk zetten en stukken veiliger...

Het was bedoeld als poging om de injectie aan de gang te krijgen, die bouwt niet genoeg druk op.

We zijn nu op op zoek naar een drukmeter voor de benzine, daarmee kunnen we dan wellicht de juiste diagnose stellen. Tot op heden valt het niet mee om daar aan te komen.

Dat is een indicatie van de opbrengst, maar wel drukloos. Retourstroom meten zegt meer over de conditie van de pomp/leidingen/filter onder druk, maar ook alleen als de drukregelaar goed werkt... (voor zover een K-jet zoiets heeft tenminste). Kortom een drukmeter is zo gek nog niet...

Pas met
1) de goeie druk
2) voldoende opbrengst (retourstroom) bij die druk

weet je zeker dat het aanvoercircuit helemaal goed is.

Benzers, gisteren contact gehad met een Mercedes monteur, die gaf als tip dat de oorzaak wel eens een back fire zou kunnen zijn, aan de onderkant van de injectie kon een slang losgeschoten zijn. Dat was inderdaad het geval en vandaag wilde de Benz voor het eerst in 10 dagen weer starten. De auto wilde alleen niet op alle 4 de cilinders lopen. Dus 4 nieuwe bougies gehaald en een beru set. Alles gemonteerd helaas de auto blijft op 3 cilinders lopen.

De bekabeling zit goed gemonteerd.

Zijn er nu nog tips die ik kan natrekken, of geef ik dit nu op en breng de auto naar een revisiebedrijf? Enig idee voor wat voor kosten ik kom te staan?

Mooi te lezen dat je al wat verder komt, maar een backfire zou heel goed kunnen. Staat me bij dat je in een ander topic sprak over een klap die je hoorde. Heeft nog even door mijn hoofd gespookt, maar is niet ter sprake gebracht. Jammer, dan had je eerder kunnen rijden met je wagen. Ja, wellicht is je luchtweger nu krom? zou ik wel even laten nakijken. Tevens je hele vonkenfabriek vernieuwen, is niet voorniks gekomen.
