Het is hopeloos. Per 1 april jl krijg je ook geen parkeervergunning meer in Rotterdam voor benzineauto's van voor 1992. Het enige lichtpuntje: voor klassiekers van >40 jaar wordt een uitzondering gemaakt. De W123 van bijna veertig jaar kan dus binnenkort weer uit de mottenballen.

Het wordt tijd om een diesel te kopen van minimaal 40 jaar oud.
Geen MRB én je hoeft je niet druk te maken over de milieuzone(s).
Dat is dus kennelijk wat 'ze' willen :whistle:.

Het is wel heel erg hypocriet. Sluiten ze eerst de relatief 'schone' aardgascentrales (want gas is gekoppeld aan de olieprijs en dat is de witteboordencriminele graaiers te duur) en zetten er voor in de plaats (want de kolenprijs zit de afgelopen decennia in een vrije val) en dan vervolgens Jan met de pet dwingen tot aanschaf van een nieuwe auto omdat die zo 'vervuilend' zouden zijn. Me dunkt dat de beleidsmakers in Rotterdam een fraai commisariaatsbaantje in het vooruitzicht is gesteld om vooral de aandacht van deze centrales af te leiden en met veel bombarie in de media de 'vieze' auto in het spotlicht te zetten.
Met dit soort politiek worden we dus met onze berustende koppen als slachtlammeren netjes in het consumentengedrag gemanouvreerd die dit soort opportunistische proleten voor hun (financiele) ogen hebben.
Oh, en binnenkort zijn de brommers aan de beurt (dat houdt de aandacht weg van het werkelijke probleem), gevolgd door een extra belasting op CV ketels (om je te verplicchten de stadsverwarming van diezelfde proleten af te nemen), want ja . . de aardgas opbrengsten zijn tegengevallen en Brussel wil ook weer 200 miljoen :sick:

sorry dat ik het zeg maar wat een ongelooflijke randdebielen. en dat het dan ook landelijk zo gaat. waarom stemmen we op die randdebielen?

wat heeft vervuiling nu te maken met de leeftijd van de auto? zelfs mijn dochter van 7 begrijpt dat. een vervuilende gloednieuwe hummer mag wel maar een schone LPG auto die toevallig wat ouder is niet? heeft totaal niets met milieu te maken OF het zijn inderdaad allemaal randdebielen.

kan me niet anders voorstellen dat hier de auto lobby achter zit om meer nieuwe auto's te verkopen. net als bij de huidige oldtimer regeling.

en de grens op 2005 zetten. wauw......in 1 klap de 2de hands markt om zeep geholpen zo. onvoorstelbaar....

Zou de juf van de basisschool gezegd hebben.

het idee erachter is prima want uiteindelijk moeten we sowieso af van het verbranden van fossiele brandstoffen op grote schaal en dan moeten we uiteindelijk ook zorgen dat het gros van de auto's of op alternatieve brandstof gaat rijden of zo schoon mogelijk en dat zijn (uitzonderingen als hummers daargelaten) meestal de nieuwere auto's.
Dus pressie maatregelen als het niet meer toelaten in steden helpt misschien (een heel klein beetje..)

Wat zo ZWAAR onvoldoende is aan de maatregelen die recentelijk genomen zijn is o.a. dat (heel hypocriet) juist schone brandstof als LPG zwaarder belast wordt, de restricties voor binnensteden op basis van leeftijd een wel HEEL grove kam zijn waar goeden onder kwaden lijden en de jaartallen wel heel erg willekeurig gekozen zijn.
En uiteindelijk is het ook nog eens zwaar hypocriet omdat de écht effectieve maatregelen zoals schonere centrales en andere schone alternatieven voor stroom voorzieningen wegbezuinigd worden en bijvoorbeeld subsidies op zonnepanelen hier in Nederland het slechts geregeld zijn van heel NW Europa.

Daar bovenop worden ouwe auto's die misschien enkele procenten bijdragen aan fijnstof en vervuiling geweerd en blijven de bussen die een heel groot deel van de ellende veroorzaken nog heel erg lang toegestaan tot ze vervangen worden. Pak die dan eerst aan! Maar tja dat kost te veel geld op korte termijn.

Kortom een hypocriete, kortzichtige en weinig effectieve maatregel.
Politiek voor de bühne.

Dit jaar mijn 300SD W116 naar de sloop gebracht, mocht wel 155 euro per maand aan MRB betalen maar van de wethouder van GroenLinks niet meer het centrum van Utrecht in, ook een verzoek aan haar omdat ik als inwoner van Utrecht met een Invalidekaart toch wel op enige clementie mag rekenen had geen resultaat, zij had daar geen boodschap aan. Toen maar een E190 W201 gekocht van 1991. Jammer dan, nu mag ik daarmee ook Rotterdam straks niet meer in (Groenlinks Maffia) :evil: . Dan bereiken ze eindelijk wat zij niet willen, ik ga een oude diesel van 40 jaar of ouder kopen zodat ik overal mag rijden!

Je betaald het meest en mag het minst. Daar komt het eigenlijk op neer.

ik zou graag uit protest een dikke burnout draaien in het centrum van Utrecht. Vol gas met die turbodiesel!

@ henk peter hou je er rekening mee dat dit niet mag in Nederland

en tja wat jullie zeggen over de scooters en brommers
een hele tijd geleden een duitser gesproken over de milieu zones in hun land
zijn reactie ik mag met mijn yongtimer met een compleet gereviseerd blok niet de stad in
met mijn rokende en stinkende oldtimer motor fiets wel
hier hebben ze dus eigenlijk ook het zelfde probleem
ga eerst maar eens de scooters en brommers en snor fietsen (die vaak ook nog eens veels te hard rijden) aanpakken
en begin daar maar eens met een apk op te zetten dit mag trouwens in mijn ogen voor de motor fietsen ook wel

Johannes schreef Dit jaar mijn 300SD W116 naar de sloop gebracht,. Dat vind ik nu zonde of was hij echt zo slecht dat er niets anders mee gedaan kon worden ??? . ik zit bij nog een Mercedes club waar 1 van de leden een prachtige W116 diesel heeft / deze auto word regelmatig geschorst maar krijgt vrijstelling om evenementen te bezoeken . dus jammer dat je hem naar de sloop hebt gebracht grt hans
