Hallo W201 leden,

Sinds kort hoorde ik bij hard remmen een water geluid aan de bestuurderskant, ik kon er niet gelijk achter komen maar nu ben ik erachter waar het vandaan komt. Heb mijn ronde rubbers aan de onderkant van de dorpels los getrokken allebei 1 voor en 1 achter en ik merkte gelijk dat er water uitkwam. Ik heb nu de rubbers er maar afgelaten zodat het water goed kan wegstromen met telkens remmen, nu zijn ze gelukkig ook leeg. Maar nu vraag ik mij af waar komt het water binnen en hoort het water niet ergens weg te stromen.

Zitten die afvoerpijpjes niet verstopt?

Ik heb geen schuifdak, ik zal eens gaan kijken naar de doorvoer rubbers en de deuren.

Maar die ronde rubberen doppen aan de onderkant, ik heb gehoord dat daar ook een klein gat in zit voor water te loodsen?

Nee er zitten normaal geen gaten in die rubberen doppen.

Niet door de pekel rijden met open dorpels!!! Te laat...
Je krijgt zo pekel in je dorpels, opgeworpen door de wielen. Met name de voorste krikpunten krijgen de volle laag. Zie dat er maar weer eens uit te spoelen.

Voor wat betreft afwatering van de dorpel... je hebt als het goed is:

- vier dikke ronde rubber doppen, dat zijn de krikpunten. Op elke dorpelhoek één. Hier hoort geen gat in te zitten.

- vier schuine afvoertules (rubber tuitjes) die naar de achterkant van de auto wijzen. Op elke dorpelhoek één. Misschien dat iemand iets te enthousiast met de tectylspuit die dingen dichtgeblubberd heeft, of ze zitten "gewoon" verstopt met vuil (in dat geval heb je waarschijnlijk een schuifdak)

Iets dieper in de tule zitten drie kleinere gaatjes, ongeveer ter hoogte van de onderkant van de dorpel. De bedoeling van die dingen is om wél water af te voeren wat in de dorpel terechtkomt, maar géén opgeworpen vuil of water binnen te krijgen. Als je zo'n tule goed bekijkt is het een heel doordacht dingetje, een mooi voorbeeld van de "over-engineering" die in de W201 gegaan is.

Waarschijnlijk zitten die dingen bij jou dus verstopt.

Mijn onderkant is kort geleden behandeld, tegen roest en misschien zitten die slangetje die jij bedoelt wel verstopt.
Ik ga de rubberen dopen terug plaatsten en kijken of er nergens een verstopping zit.

Echt een 'wintercheck' puntje bij onze auto's.

weet iemand toevallig het onderdeel nummer van de tule. Wensink in Arnhem kan het niet vinden.

Ik weet zeker dat die tule en dop in EPC staan. Wensink moet gewoon even de moeite nemen om de juiste view uit EPC te halen.

Mijn vraag iets te snel gesteld, topic nog eens aandachtig doorgelezen, en heb er inderdaad 4 nodig.

Hebben natuurlijk liever dat je een s-klasse kwam bestellen .
