hoe kan ik snel checken of ik wel of geen airbag heb in mijn stuur?
op mijn stuur staat géen SRS, het is een kleiner stuur(sportstuur) wat ik in mijn sportline uitvoering heb zitten.
Is het zo eenvoudig dat als er géén SRS staat ik er geen heb?

ik wil vandaag mijn stuur demonteren vandaar de vraag.

ja dat zou je verwachten.
hij heeft vanuit de fabriek een 390mm sportstuur erop.
Ik ging en ga er nog steeds vanuit dat bij een stuur met airbag, de tekst SRS erop zou staan.
aan de andere kant heb ik gelezen dat kennelijk vanaf 1985 Mercedes is over gegaan naar airbag standaard optie.
blijft een puzzel.

er zitten aan / rondom/achter het stuur geen boutjes of moeren, heb gezien dat sommige 2boutjes hebben links en rechts aan het stuur. dat heeft de mijne niet. nergens boutjes.
ik wilde het stuur verwijderen omdat ik de laatste tijd zachte piepgeluidjes hoor vanuit stuurkolom.buiten de auto is niets te horen.ik dacht de sleepring vanmiddag schoon te maken omdat die nogal eens wil 'geluidjes' maken.
en dan kom je dus bij de vraag wel of geen airbag. ik denk haast zeker te zijn dat er geen airbag aanwezig is.
heb vanmiddag met wat soortgelijks als wd40 voorzichtig wat ingespoten en het geluid is nu verdwenen! claxon werkt nog gewoon.
neemt niet weg dat ik toch wel wil weten of ik een airbag heb
