Maar hoe weet je of je auto met een KAT uitgerust is uit de fabriek? Kan je een KAT gewoon aan de onderkant van de auto herkennen?

beste leden,ik was deze week bij de esso pomp met een e5 stikker,even nagevraagd of daar geen e10 op moest staan de uitleg wasd dat de euro 95 zou blijven zoals die nu is?????? gr,jan.

wordt geloof ik in 2019 omgewisseld voor E10, maar dan je gewoon super tanken of BP Ultimate of zo. En als je E10 een keertje tankt, is dat geen drama, begrijp ik uit de pers. Je auto schijnt ook zuiniger te lopen op Ultimate, heb ik vaker gehoord. Geen paniek !

Hier heb ik nog wat info gepikt van het W126 forum....dit stukje gaat alleen over de 6cyl m103 en 8 cyl motoren.
en het is in duits...maar daar komen we wel uit denk ik.
Kat of geen Kat maakt volgens mij niet uit...maar ik tank alleen nog maar 98 nu..maar bij de Vpower staat nu ook E5 98 op de pomp

Aangezien het al bijna een jaar geleden is dat dit bericht is geplaatst, vraag ik mij af of we meer weten met betrekking tot het tanken van 95 of 98. Ik tank sinds de wijziging alleen maar V-Power of Ultimate (98 ongelood). Nu viel het mij op dat zowel Euro 95 als Euro 98 aangeduidt worden met "E5" bij de pomp. Waarom heten ze beide zo en kunnen wij dan ook beide tanken?

E5 betekent dat er 5% ethanol in zit en E10 dat er 10% ethanol in zit. Je kunt nu dus gerust nog gewoon Euro95 tanken ZOLANG er een E5 stikker op de hals is geplakt. Per 1 oktober wordt het wel opletten:

Dan wordt het namelijk verplicht voor tankstations die MEERDERE soorten benzine verkopen (denk aan bijv. een Shell die Euro 95 (E5) en V-Power (E5) verkoopt) om E10 aan te bieden. De helft van de benzinevulpunten moet zijn afgevuld met E10 benzine. De pomphouder mag zelf beslissen welke benzine hij/zij laat vervallen om aan de E10 verplichting te voldoen.

Tankstations die maar één soort benzine verkopen zijn vrijgesteld van deze verplichting. Dus per 1 oktober bieden die nog steeds Euro 95 (E5) aan.

En als je onder de auto kijkt zie je die kat meestal ook wel zitten.
Al maakt dat voor het tanken van E5 of E10 niet zo veel uit begrijp ik.

Dus als ik alles zo lees, ben ik met auto uit 1984 met carburateur goed het haasje

er zijn ook flesjes in de handel waarmee je die e10 zooi ongedaan kunt maken.
even wat google en je zal het vinden.
flesjes kosten wel wat , dus je krijgt extra kosten om de e10 te neutraliseren.
