Je mag er zo alleen niet de openbare weg mee op. Deze striping mag alleen gevoerd worden op voertuigen die echt in gebruik zijn bij politie, ambulancdiensten en brandweer (Douane, KMAR enz). Er rust auteursrecht op.
Ook het monteren van bauwe lampen en flitsers is niet toegestaan (zelfs niet als je er geen gebruik van maakt of ze niet zijn aangesloten).

Wat dat betreft had je misschien beter voor de oude rijkspolitieuitvoering kunnen kiezen.
Die striping is niet beschermd en roept bij de meeste agenten vertedering (lees nostaligsche) gevoelens op. Dan kom je zelfs misschien nog wel weg met een blauwe zwaailamp.

Ik dacht dat de zwaailamp niet aangesloten mocht zijn en afgedekt moest worden met een kap.

Dat was zo ja.
Maar er is een wijziging geweest en tegenwoordig mag hij er helemaal niet meer op zitten..
Maar als echt duidelijk is dat het voertuig niet meer als zodanig in gebruik is wordt het oogluikend toegelaten.
Bijvoorbeeld bij oude brandweer of ambulancevoertuigen zoals deze hieronder....
