Voor het parkeren van de wagens in volgorde van type, zou het fijn zijn als we voor Zaterdag ochtend twee
MEETING CAPTAINS hebben.

De bedoeling hiervan is dat je zorgt dat de wagens op de parkeerplaats bij elkaar komen te staan. Dus even wat aanwijzingen geven.

Voel je hier voor, en kun je er zaterdag ochtend rond 9 uur aanwezig zijn, PB mij dan even als je wilt.

Ik kom er net vandaan, er waren zo'n 25 auto's en het weer was wisselvallig. Wel een erg handige locatie : je kon er prima koffie drinken, er was een Burger King en een a la carte restaurant. En de ligging was ook fijn : supercentraal, op zo'n 8 km van Utrecht. Compliment voor de organisatie en ook dank aan de 2 jongens die er al vroeg waren om de parkeerplekken toe te wijzen. Helaas stond er een kleine Japanner tussen, en erger, een BMW
Een 635 CSI of een 2002 had nog wel gegaan

Maar daar is allemaal niets aan te doen natuurlijk, die mensen zullen dat ook niet express gedaan hebben.

Ik vond het erg leuk om Spaansen en Carlo weer eens gezien te hebben, en wilde nog even met Lingo babbelen, maar toen was hij opeens weg. Nou ja, volgende keer dan maar. Nu weet ik ook hoe HVE en van Vuuren er uit zien.
Mooie auto's allemaal, en voor het eerst was ik de enige met een witte W201, dat gebeurt niet vaak

PS Erg belangrijk : er waren weinig mensen met een bordje achter het raam met hun forumnaam en/of gegevens van de auto. Erg jammer, want zo maak je toch sneller kontakt.Er staat een mooie layout hier op het forum, maak er gebruik van ! ( Kan iemand hier een hyperlink er naar toe zetten, ik weet niet hoe dat moet ). Ja, sorry dat ik ineens weg was, maar m`n zoontje was het zat....
Dus lekker op tijd weer bij z`n moeder afgeleverd.
Wat dat babbelen betreft; je bent altijd welkom voor een bakkie....

Ja, en dan de meeting zelf....
Het was voor mij de 1e keer dat ik op een meeting was van een andere "club"
Gezien het aantal W-clubs die aan deze meeting meededen, vond ik de opkomst matig....
Das jammer....
Misschien dat als er vaker iets georganiseerd word, dat de opkomst beter is.
Voor wat betreft het bordje achter het raam met de forumnaam; ook ik ben het finaal vergeten

Een leuke dag!

De opkomst was niet enorm maar iedereen was even vriendelijk en enthousiast.
We waren er om ca. 11.00 uur en om 16.00 uur weer thuis (Zwolle) en hebben ons zeker niet verveeld..

Achter elke auto schuilt vaak een heel verhaal en dat is leuk om te horen.
Enfin, een diversiteit aan auto's van echte werkpaarden met de bijbehorende kenmerken tot luxe paarden die zo de showroom in kunnen.

Een bordje achter de ruit met relevante gegevens is een goeie tip.
Ik was het van plan maar ben het vergeten..

Ben vanmiddag ook nog geweest, was er ongeveer 14:30 uur, met mijn (witte!) W201. Toen stonden er nog ongeveer 15 auto's. Het was wel erg gezellig en aangenaam om er weer eens mensen en hun auto's te zien. O.a een witte W124 200 uit Mechelen - B. Tegen 15:30 uur kwam er nog een prachtige 500SEC aangereden. En nog later kwam er een prachtige 190E 2.6. Helaas vergeet ik namen ter plekke weer, maar ik hoop morgen nog even wat foto's te plaatsen.

Onze Witbenz staat hier nog na te genieten van de heerlijke rit naar De Meern. Inderdaad had de opkomst allicht beter gekund (kom op jongens en meisjes!), wat misschien met het weer te maken had? Ik zou misschien de timing net iets compacter houden zodat je iedereen gezien hebt, maar dan kunnen er misschien weer minder mensen komen doordat ze ofwel voor- of namiddag verhinderd zijn. Gewoon met meer komen volgende keer iedereen

Ik vond het echt een meeting naar mn hart. Open motorkappen, leuke mensen ook van de andere forums en een prachtige diversiteit die toch binnen ons interessegebied blijft,van een geblutste maar heel goed verzorgde W202 met 427.000km en een droom er zo snel mogelijk 500.000 van te maken tot zoals vernoemd die bijna nieuwe SEC.

Sam doet de groeten aan Fabio uit Amsterdam in de grijze W124 260E die nog vrij laat toekwam! Het was leuk dat er uiteindelijk toch nog een leeftijdsgenootje was, misschien moeten we dat volgende keer ook vermelden als de kinderen meekomen + welke leeftijd?

Wij zijn dus met de witte 124 gegaan, Rita, onze 190E 2.3, had een koelvloeistof lek dat ik inmiddels heb oogrspoord en hopelijk hersteld (gebroken slangklem aan de voet van de radiator)

Ik had gedacht niet te kunnen komen omdat ik moest werken. Gelukkig was ik vroeg klaar en ben in de namiddag nog naar De Meern gereden. Nog een uurtje kunnen kletsen met de laatste aanwezigen.

goedendag! wat mij betreft was het ook zeker geslaagde meeting op de terugweg liep mijn auto als nooit tevoren ik had het probleem dat hij niet echt goed doortrok in de hogere toeren, en ook bij tegenwind had hij zeker moeite om beetje vlot mee te komen met de rest van het verkeer (vooral op snelweg..) bracht het probleem ter sprake waarop mede clublid gelijk met het hoofd onder de motorkap dook waarop hij al snel zag wat de oorzaak was, het had met de afstelling van de knop voor het type brandstof te maken hij stond op nr N maar moest dus op S staan (was er mij niet van bewust dat je dat kon instellen ) hij rijd nu pas echt zoals een Mercedes hoort te rijden!! dat wil zeggen soepel &vloeiend heb uiteraard de persoon in kwestie vriendelijk bedankt vr gr joop

Het ziet er gezellig uit daar helaas had ik weer eens druk op zaterdag . maar oke wie weet de volgende keer grt hans
