Ja, zou zomaar kunnen. Zijn toch slijtage onderdelen, telkens als je gas geeft dan gaan 2 contact vingers over de printplaat. En na zoveel jaren kunnen die verkeerde waardes doorgeven aan de ECU.

Maar je zou hem ook eraf kunnen halen en doormeten.?

Onze 190E 1.8 van 1992 heeft het volgende:

Hoog brandstofverbruik, 1:8 ongeveer.
Benzinelucht, is al minder sinds ik er een nieuwe thermostaat op heb.
Trekt niet heel erg goed, ik vind de auto wat lui, dacht eerst dat het kwam omdat de auto bijna een jaar
had stilgestaan toen ik hem kocht, dus grote beurt gehad, maar hij is nog steeds lui.
En hij houdt bij het optrekken af en toe wat in.
Bij koude start moet de startmotor vaak ik de rondte voordat de motor aanslaat, valt daarna heel soms 1x uit.
Start daarna wel weer gewoon.

Zou dit alles te maken kunnen hebben met de Lmm/potmeter?

Het is natuurlijk niet gemakkelijk om op afstand te kunnen bepalen of het aan de Luchtmassa meter ligt.
Zo te horen staat ie veel te rijk.

Missen van vermogen is een mogelijk slecht afgestelde potmeter (of versleten op de glijbanen) waardoor de
motor (lees Ke-jetronic) de verkeerde gegevens doorgeef aan het EHA (Blokje achterop de spinnenkop).

Slecht starten kan ook als je OVP defect is, dan staat de motor in de noodloop en dan is de koude start problematisch. Maar ook een defect potmeter. Maar meten is weten.

Hi, ik heb een 2.6 uit 1987 en had een stationair onregelmatige motor.
Een beetje zeurderig geluid.
De luchtmassameter zat er wat los in en hebben we vastgekit.
Toen was het vaak weg, maar ik heb het nu weer af en toe en het zit volgens mij goed.
Zou ik ook zo'n potmeter nodig hebben?
En waar zit dat ding nou precies?

Ik kan niet zo bepalen of je er een nodig hebt, je moet dat zien en meten. Maar stationair en of vermogensverlies is vaker een oorzaak van deze potmeter.

Heb namelijk ook last van stationair en vermogensverlies. Het vermogensverlies is me de laatste tijd opgevallen vandaar.

In het lijstje zag ik de type voertuigen die ik heb (W201 190E 1.8 03.1990 - 04.1994 ) Ik mag aannemen dat de Potmeter / luchtmassameter dan ook past?
Als dit zo is stuur dan even een bericht met hoe het geld over te maken zodat ik hem kan bestellen.

Nou gisteren een nieuwe geplaatst, niet echt problemen gehad.
Wel even nadenken hoe je het afdekplaatje er af kon krijgen zonder de boel te vernielen.
Maak van een spaanplaat schroef de voorkant goed warm met een kleine brander en steek hem door het afdekplaatje laten afkoelen en je trek zonder problemen het afdekplaatje eraf.
Ook een foto van de oude potmeter en nieuwe, behoeft geen uitleg welke.
niet met een schroevendraaier gedaan maar met een ratel!!!! M6 werkt goed.

Met de multimeter die moet ik niet neerleggen anders krijg ik verschillende waarden, het beste is als je niet een grote hebt hem in de hand houden en dan meten.
De mijne is een hobby ding geen professionele.

Had de waarden niet goed ingesteld; zelf dacht ik te lezen minimaal 0.7 en maximaal 0.20 maar had ergens anders op hier al gelezen dat het pressies 0.7 Volt moet zijn.
Wachten tot de vrouw thuis komt met de auto dan is hij gelijk op temperatuur en opnieuw afstellen.
Heb hem nu op 0.13 /0.14 Volt staan.
Met koude motor is hij zoals hij nu staat veel te laag in de toeren. Als hij op temperatuur is loopt de auto goed.

Dan wil ik verder de mensen hier bedanken voor hun vakkennis en dat zij die delen en zoals Orion om ons te helpen om zelf ook problemen op te oplossen.

ik moet ook maar eens snel gaan meten. auto loopt, na een dosis forthe, het stationair redelijk maar toch nog iets wiebelig. stappenmotor schijn ik niet te hebben dus daar kan het niet aan liggen. heb ik nieuwe bougies dus dat is het ook niet.

ik heb ook nog een ander probleem (zou dat ermee te maken kunnen hebben?) en dat is als ik hem start, dan lijkt het of de cilinders op gang moeten komen en dan schud hij stevig een seconde of 4. daarna helemaal geen probleem. als ik start en het gaspedaal 'tegelijk' intrap (die ik dus NOOIT alleen vandaag gedaan voor de test), dan lijkt er helemaal niets aan de hand.

ik dacht dat mijn rotor, kap en bougiekabels uitstekend waren maar misschien moet ik die maar eens een keertje uitwisselen met die van mijn 230E (die zijn nieuw) en dan kijken of het wat uitmaakt.

auto staat dit weekend in de garage zodat hij maandag voor de apk afgemeld kan worden. daarna ga ik kijken of ik kan meten.

Mooie foto's in deze uitleg. Maar wat je na het plaatsen van de Potmeter nadat ie is afgesteld moet doen is je CO opnieuw laten afstellen.

De vrouw intussen thuis gekomen en heb met een het alles weer eraf gehaald zodat ik de potmeter/luchtmassameter op de juiste waarde kan zetten.

Maar er zijn geen waardes meer.
Helemaal niets te lezen, heb 2 verschillende multimeters gebruikt en alle twee geen nul aan.

Wel de Ohm waarden gemeten, zie het lijstje dat ik gemaakt heb.
De eerste meeting 1 en 2 1008 K
Tweede meeting 1 en 3 4,84 M
Derde meeting 2 en 3 5,65M

Dus nu totaal geen volt helemaal niets.

Is hier een verklaring voor.

Het kan toch niet zo zijn dat de potmeter/luchtmassameter nu al de geest heeft begeven.

Je zou de eerste zijn die kapot zou zijn. Maar heb je niet per ongeluk met de meetpennen de zekering van je OVP eruit laten klappen.??

Je meet weerstand, dan is de potmeter namelijk goed. Hij krijgt een constante spanning via je Boordcomputer (ECU) en daar je eerst wel spanning hebt gemeten vermoed ik dat de zekering van je OVP eruit ligt.

Het OVP (overspannings-relais) zit achter de Accu, die kunstof plaat haal je weg en dan zie je hem zitten.

Je kunt er een hebben met 1 zekering bovenop of een met twee.

Brandstofpomp relais zijn vaak te repareren door soldeercontacten of printspoor te solderen.

Gisteren heb ik ook een nieuwe potmeter ontvangen en gelijk gemonteerd
De motor loopt weer netjes stationair zoals het hoort
