Beste allen,

Sinds een week ben ik de troste bezitter van een 190E 2.0 uit het jaar 1984. Een mooie auto maar wel met wat gebreken, maar ach dat was te merken in de prijs. Er zit wat roest op en de bekleding verdient wat aandacht, maar ik ben een student dus ik heb het helemaal niet zo breed. Daarentegen wil ik wel leren sleutelen aan deze pracht van een auto. Hij rijdt fantastisch en heeft "slechts" 218.000km op de teller staan. Daarentegen ben ik wel de 4de (of meer) eigenaar en is de auto niet geweldig onderhouden. Des te meer een reden om zelf mn handen vuil te gaan maken.

Dat is dus ook een beetje de reden dat ik hier ben. Aangezien ik echt 0 verstand heb van autos, maar het wel wil leren, zal ik hier veel vragen stellen en antwoorden zoeken. Zoals je al hebt gehoord heeft deze bak wat aandacht (en liefde) nodig maar dat is het sowieso waard.

Over mezelf: Ik ben 21 jaar, technische student uit Delft. Ik ga deze auto puur voor mn plezier gebruiken in de weekenden, aangezien ik een studentenOV en een prima fiets heb. Met andere studenten een weekend weg zal daarentegen regelmatig gaan gebeuren.

Qua opties is dit een magere uitvoering:
- 4 versnellingen
- automatisch zonnedak
- Geen ABS (voor zover ik weet)

Mijn ultieme doel is om deze auto goed te onderhouden en bovendien in waarde te laten stijgen, dit door roest weg te werken en meerdere onderdelen op te knappen. Hopelijk kunnen jullie me helpen en tips geven!

De W201 is relatief vrij goedkoop op de weg te houden als je zelf je handen uit de mouwen steekt dus goede keuze voor een student

Dit weekend tijdens een tourtochtje een prachtige foto van mn W201 kunnen maken. Beetje bewerken met de PC en dit is het resultaat. Let ook vooral op de nieuwe velgen die ik er recentelijk onder heb gezet, vele malen beter dan die oude velgen.

Inmiddels is mijn witte geëxporteerd (volgens de RDW) en is er een vervanger. Maak kennis met mijn nieuwe W201. Nouja, ik heb hem inmiddels al een jaartje.

Gekocht met iets meer dan 2 ton op de teller, inclusief NAP want hij is origineel nederlands.

Bouwjaar: 1992
Uitvoering: 1.8 class, handmatige 5-bak, Karo bekleding (helemaal gaaf!)
Opties: cruise control (werkt nog niet helaas, moet ik nog uitzoeken), elektrische ramen voor, lichtmetalen velgen, hoofdsteunen achter, abs (geen idee of hij echt werkt), middenarmsteun, lederen stuurwiel en schakelpook, airbag

Op dit moment zijn er wat koudstart problemen helaas, dat is mijn huidige prioriteit om dat op te lossen..
Andere problemen die nog verholpen moeten worden: wat roest op de spatborden (ik heb vervanging liggen in de verkeerde kleur) en schakelen in z'n 1 gaat moeizaam (schakelstang moet uitgelijnd worden denk ik)

Kortom: minder problemen dan mijn vorige roestbak, maar ook hier is nog wat aan te sleutelen
