Koude start 190E 1.8 (KE Jetronic)

Mijn 190E 1.8 die ik een maand geleden heb aangeschaft start slecht als het koud is buiten.

De motor draait wel rond, maar wil niet aanslaan. Als ik een keer of 4 wat langer doorstart (5 s ongeveer), krijg ik hem wel aan de praat.

Vervolgens is dan ook het stationair toerental te laag. Hij loopt dan heel schokkerig en valt soms uit. Als ik het gaspedaal ook maar een beetje indruk (zodat de motor voor m'n gevoel zo'n 200 rpm sneller draait), loopt ie schokvrij. M'n stationair toerental bij koude motor is dus te laag.

Ik heb me al behoorlijk verdiept in de KE Jetronic ontsteking en het probleem kan natuurlijk bij meerdere onderdelen liggen. Zo zou de koudestartinjector defect kunnen zijn, waardoor m'n mengsel te arm is.

Maar dit verklaart nog niet m'n te lage stationair toerental. De computer zou dat toerental toch zelf wat moeten verhogen wanneer de motor koud is?

Vorige week, toen de temperaturen zo rond de 7, 8 graden lagen, liep ie na 2, 3 seconden.

Hoi Willem,

Ik heb die zekering twee weken geleden bekeken. Ik heb totaal weinig verstand van elektriciteit e.d. en vond de zekering er niet kapot/gesmolten uitzien. Morgen eens aan een vent met meer verstand laten zien.

Het relais zal ik ook eens nader onderzoeken.

Mocht dit stuk zijn, betekent dit dan dat de motor in de noodmodus draait? M.a.w. niet geregeld door de KE Jetronic-computer?

Zou cool zijn als het hiermee is op te lossen.

in je cilinderkop zit een vacuumsensor, 2 pijpjes met op beide een slangetje, 1 ervan gaat naar je carburateur, als deze kapot is stuurt hij je carburateur niet meer aan bij koude start, de mijne morgen vervangen, 1 pijpje afgebroken, noodoplossing met een bout in 1 slangetje.

deze sensor heeft een klepje die opend om een vacuum te creeren zodat er meer brandstof word toegelaten bij koude start.


althans dit is een vermoeden..

sorry ik begrijp je ik heb ook gewoon een einspritser, er staat wel carb op het nieuwe sensortje, hiermee bedoelen ze gewoon je brandstof regel systeem.



relais test even heeel diep graven in mijn geheugen....contact maken en naar het schema kijken op je relais ( als dat er op staat) met contact erop dus + en - draad zal hij in of uit moeten schakelen, en voor de zekerheid een multimeter erop?


trouwens mijn motor doet dat ook starten met verhoogd toerental paar seconden daarna ineens rustiger, mijn klepje is kapot dat weet ik zeker zou stom toevallig zijn als ik beide kapot heb, morgen ga ik hem monteren dan kan ik je meer vertellen.


klepje koste mij 22, 50 bij Benz dealer in Nederland ( duitsland is goedkoper). lullige is je kunt nooit zien of iets kapot is of niet, test je relais even, ik breng je morgen verslag uit of het vervangen van het klepje het oploste.

Het is toch die zekering gebleken waar willemc het over had! Zekering vervangen en hij startte onmiddellijk, met een wat hoger stationair toerental.

Ik dank jullie allen zeer voor uw hulp! Ik ben weer blij.

Heb denk ik zelfde probleem met mijn W201 (190E) bouwjaar 11-'83. Ik heb al achter de accu gekeken maar
kom er niet uit. Een foto zal denk ik wel helpen. Wie wil er een foto van maken?

Hoi Bertil,

Vanaf ca. 10/'84 zit ie achter de accu. Bij jou moet ie ergens bij je zekeringskast zitten (rechts achter als je voor de motor staat).

Het relais ziet er zo uit:



De zekering (10A) zit bovenin, onder een doorzichting plastic klepje.

Ik heb de relais met zekering ontdekt onder het kapje. Ik ga e.e.a. controleren.

Het kan natuurlijk aan de temperatuursensor leggen . Als die verkeerde waarders doorgeeft kan hij ook slecht aan slaan . bv motor denk dat hij al warm is en zal nooit in zijn koud loop komen . dat verklaard dat hij warm wel goed loopt .mischien iets om over na te denken . grt hans
