Hier zat al 1 zon eindnippel bij.

De nippel die al op de kabel zat, was iets kleiner, maar paste wel goed in de hendel

1 kant van de nippel moet eraf geknipt worden.
Om te voorkomen dat de kabel gaat raffelen, heb ik een stukje vertin, op het gasfornuis met flux en tin.

De nieuwe kabel heb ik ingevet met lagervet en heb wat WD40 in de huls gespoten.
Kabel ging moeiteloos erin. Kabel strak gezet en eindnippel vast gezet, en het werkt weer naar behoren :)

Nu kan ik wel een nieuwe binnenkabel "remkabel" halen bij de fietsenmaker, die is even dik.

Maar hoe krijg ik die eindplug er weer om?
Die zit gesoldeerd?

Want dat zou de makkelijkste oplossing zijn denk ik, gewoon een nieuwe binnenkabel, maar die pluggen :?:

Deze heb ik losgemaakt zodat er een rechte kabel ontstond. Op deze wijze schoof je hem zo erin. Ook een handige tip voor mensen die dit moeten doen.
