Krijg je sneller krassen van. Uiteraard eerst de wagen afspoelen.

Gebruik de Meguiars Ultimate Wash and Wax.

Daarna spoel ik de wagen af, doe dit met een zachte straal uit de slang, en omdat de wagen in de Tech wax staat van Meguiars ( kan ook met andere merken) loopt het water er makkelijk vanaf.

Dan neem ik een grote microvezel doek (fungeert als zeem) en neem in hele korte tijd de resterende druppels van de wagen af.
Daarna poets ik met een microvezel de auto nog even op, omdat er een beetje wax in de shampoo zit.
De velgen doe ik apart met een velgenreiniger bij elke poetsbeurt met een ronde verfkwast die precies in de putdeksels past.
Zo poets ik mijn wagen, let wel dit nadat ik eerst de hele wagen gepolijst heb en in de Wax (2x) gezet heb. Met deze methode houdt ik de wax laag langer in stand.

Er wordt voor een klein kapitaal aan poetsmiddelen aangeschaft maar de produkten om de auto te wassen zijn minstens zo belangrijk. Ik was mijn auto zelf met Autoglym Carshampo omdat dit PH neutraal is en de waslaag niet aantast. Ik was mijn auto dan ook niet met een spons maar met een washandschoen om krassen te voorkomen. Uiteraard is het van belang alvorens te starten met de wasbeurt de auto volledig af te spuiten waardoor het meeste vuil loskomt en het zand eraf is gespoeld. Ik doe dit niet met een hogedrukreiniger maar met regenwater uit mijn septictank. Het reinigen van de putdeksels gaat ook zeer goed met de washandschoen en kom je heel goed in de kleinste hoekjes. Na de auto te hebben gewassen wordt alles gezeemd ook de binnenstijlen, de koffer en onder de motorkap. Al deze werkzaamheden zijn overigens maar een uurtje werk.
