Een spuitbus op kleur was 35 euro en een bus 2k blanke lak van goede kwaliteit 25 euro en dan nog wat klein materiaal erbij. Toch goedkoper om het zelf te doen, maar professioneel is toch mooier eb gladder.

Niet het hele scherm is over gespoten, alleen de geplamuurde plekjes met een mooie overgang. Verder is het hele scherm in 2k blanke lak gezet.

Het beste is om het scherm gemonteerd te spuiten, en dan uit te spuiten op de deur om kleurverschil te vermijden.
Al kunnen ze tegenwoordig behoorlijk goed op kleur mengen en bijwerken.

Gaten opvullen met glasvezel is alleen uitstellen van het probleem. Dat komt na een jaar 2x zo hard weer terug.
Rotte stukken eruit slijpen en vers metaal inlassen of het scherm dumpen en een ander, roestvrij scherm opzoeken.

Aan de linkerkant van het scherm kon ik met een schroevendraaier doorheen prikken, maar dit heb ik weten op te lossen door het te zandstralen en met glasvezel plamuur op te vullen.

Ik heb zelf de voorbewerking gedaan, maar wensink kon het spuit werk voor een mooi prijsje doen en dat zou goedkoper uitkomen dan als ik het zelf zou doen. Mooi opgelost op deze manier en dus ook professioneel gedaan.

Antwoord op je vraag mbt een spuitbus:
De kleurcode van mijn W201 is 172.

Had last van lichte roest in de motorruimte. Dit heb ik zelf behandeld en aan het eind de primer en spuitlak van Motip gebruikt. Zie: https://www.motip.com/nl/service/colourguide-motip/

Zoek hier op Mercedes-Benz en kleurcode 7172 in jouw geval. Dit wordt dan vertaald naar kleurcode 51120.
Ik heb het gebruikt en is prima.
Spuitbus besteld bij automaterialen Heuts, iets van €15, 400ml.
Primer ook nog even kopen.
