Als je de auto goed waxt na een polijst beurt dan hoef je het alleen te onderhouden en niet nog een keer polijsten.

Note to self: max 1 keer per 1 a 2 jaar polijsten en alleeen als het echt nodig is. punt. Verder alleen onderhouden met shampoo/klei/wax.

Ik heb inmiddels al een tijdje niets gedaan aan waxen e.d. en door de extreme hoosbuien de laatste tijd is nu ook het laatste restje wax van de lak verdwenen en dan zie je pas hoe dun de lak is geworden... vlekkerig en doorschijnend :sick: (zie foto 2)
Als ik ik zorgvuldig een nieuwe laag meguiar ultimate wax toepas dan lijkt het weer een tijdje heel aardig rood en glanzend maar na een paar maanden buiten staan in een paar hoosbuien is de wax ook zo weer weg...
Kortom de wijze les is: niet te vaak en te intens polijsten. Volgens het Meguiar forum kun je maar 4-5 keer intensief polijsten voor je door de lak heen zit (en dat lees ik nu pas.. :pinch: )

Tijd voor een spuitbeurt.. of wrappen.. :whistle:
