De 2 kunststof clips induwen en de lamphouder eruit halen. 8 moertjes losdraaien en de lichtunit naar buiten eruit drukken. Rubber vervangen (even insmeren met glycerine) en alles weer monteren.
C-stijl rubber gaat vrijwel niet kapot. De kit droogt wel uit. Dus kitresten verwijderen en ff opnieuw afkitten.

Bij het plaaten druk je (door het aandraaien van het binnendeel met de moeren) de unit met het rubber tegen je chassis.

Dus je moet het afdichtings-rubber tussen de lampunit en de auto hebben.

Ik heb net de dealer gebeld, hij zegt dat er alleen een rubber zit tussen het glas en de behuizing. Is dat het rubber dat ik moet hebben ?

De hele achterunit "hangt" niet in rubbers tegen de carosserie aan, begrijp ik. Dat had ik wel in gedachten. Ben nu op mijn werk, kan e.e.a. niet checken.

Maar eens kijken hoe het er bij mij uitziet. Misschien is de manchet aan vervanging toe, misschien alleen schoonmaken en nieuwe kit. Gelukkig nog geen lekkage, maar voorkomen is beter dan genezen. De Benz moet nog even mee, als het kan.

Via de binnenkant van de kofferbak kun je alles losmaken.

Is het 1 rubber die ik moet vervangen ? Makkelijk zelf te doen ?

Iemand een idee hoeveel die rubbers kosten per stuk ?

Hetzelfde heb ik bij de ventilatieroosters : hoe haal je die eruit ? Kun je deze rubbers ook eenvoudig vervangen, of is dat niet zo nodig ? Er lekt ( nog ) niets, maar ik vind het een rot-gezicht, na het wassen, temeer ik een witte auto heb.
