Voor mij moet je de toevoeging zien als water en olie.
Als je dat goed mengt heb je 'n homogeen mengsel, niks aan de hand.
Staat dat langer als 'n bepaalde tijd zal de toevoeging lichter dan benzine gaan drijven.
En dit zou schade kunnen aanbrengen, aan aluminium, rubbers en dergelijke.

Blijft de vraag natuurlijk, hoelang duurt het voor het mengsel zich gaat scheiden ?

Niet elke auto is geschikt voor de nieuwe brandstof E10. Auto's die hier niet geschikt voor zijn kunnen problemen krijgen met de aluminium onderdelen doordat de juiste coating ontbreekt of krijgen te maken met aantasting van de rubber onderdelen. De aanwezige alcohol in de brandstof is namelijk agressiever dan de rest van de substantie.

We kennen allemaal de duitse E10 die we kunnen tanken. Ik was zelf in de veronderstelling dat deze niet geschikt was voor de W201, maar dat is dus schijnbaar wel het geval indien je kathalysator en injectie hebt? Bron:
Ik dacht dat het vooral belangrijk was vanwege je rubbers e.d., maar het draait dus zo te zien om je brandstofsysteem.

En Blue One 95, ik zag het voorbij komen in het topic over motorolie en zie het hier en daar opduiken aan diverse tankstations. Dat is dus eigenlijk E15, er zit 15% ethanol in. En voor het gemak hebben ze maar niet gekeken hoe auto's van voor 2001 daarop reageren. Bron:
Ik vraag me af of je zoiets dan wilt tanken voor die 2 cent verschil.
