Bij aankoop Nederlandse wagen 190D 2.5 heb ik gezien dat mijn Mercedes 3 uitlaatdempers heeft.
In Belgie hoef je geen oxykat te hebben bij zo'n oude auto.
Ik veronderstel dat de eerste demper de oxykat is?
Gaat deze beginnen stinken als deze slecht is?

Ik heb al een tijdje dat wanneer ik rustig ga rijden, ik niks ruik (met raam open)
Maar eens ik ga beginnen optrekken (met raam open) dat de geur van de uitlaatgassen naar binnen komt.
En het lijkt vooraan te komen. Ik heb geen gat onder het uitlaatsysteem gevonden.

Ik rij vaak korte stukken (40km per dag) en soms geef ik goed gas wanneer ik zie dat mijn oliedruk is beginnen zakken (duid meestal aan dat de motor op temperatuur geworden is)
Kan een oxykat het verbruik en koppelvermogen beinvloeden?
