Toen ik in 1999 een jaartje taxi-chauffeur was en dus Mercedes ging rijden, is de vlam over geslagen: Wat een auto!
Toen was het al: Ooit zal ik ...
En dat was dus afgelopen juni! Ik voelde me King of the road na al die kleinere auto's die ik daarvoor gereden heb. Wat heerlijk, die massa onder de billen! En dat sturen... En dat zoemen van de motor... En die wegligging... En dat uitzicht over de motorkap ... En ... En... En ... :drool:
Begin ook al wat arroganter te worden...

Er moest wel wat gebeuren(thermostaat vervangen, roest wegwerken, orginele wielen), maar inmiddels is dat gedaan. Na mijn vakantie in Polen is mijn vertrouwen in mijn 190 volledig en ik ben definitief om.
Heb alleen nog een probleem met de elektriciteit(dashboardverlichting doet het niet), maar daar ga ik nu mee aan de slag.

Het enige nadeel is dat hij is niet goed voor de lijn is omdat ik mijn fiets verwaarloos. Maar goed, het archetype Mercedesrijder is ook niet de dunste. :whistle:
