Welkom op het forum, ja je hebt een mooie verzameling wagens. Maar het is helemaal waar, zelf sleutelen is haast niet meer te doen aan die moderne wagens, en aan een W201 is alles nog redelijk begrijpelijk en de voldoening altijd groot als je zelf iets gemaakt hebt.

Even voorstellen: ik ben Pieter, Nederlander woonachtig in Belgie en autoliefhebber.

Ik heb een paar moderne auto's waar ik zelf niet aan kan knutselen en dat vond ik vroeger juist altijd zo leuk. Zodoende ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een youngtimer waar ik zelf nog wat aan kan doen.

Sinds een maand heb ik een MB W201 190E 2.5-16 van bouwjaar 1989 afkomstig uit Zwitserland.

De auto heeft leuke opties: airco, airbag, hydro pneumatische vering rondom, automaat, cruise control, schuifdak, buitentemperatuurmeter, elektrische ramen en nog veel meer.

Zelf heb ik er nog een Mercedes APS 30 systeem ingebouwd en ook afstandsbediening met klapsleutels op de cv aangesloten. Ook heb ik de buitentemperatuurmeter vervangen omdat het display dood was en het half wortelnoten airbagstuur heb ik vervangen door een zwart stuur. Ten slotte was het zebrano hout gescheurd en dit heb ik ook vervangen. Voor deze klusjes heb ik al veel aan jullie mooie forum gehad! Dus daarvoor alvast bedankt!

Op de originele 15" putdeksels heb ik winterbanden liggen en voor de zomer heb ik echte Evo II Ceginus in 17" gekocht.
