Het niet op temperatuur komen van de auto is hoogstwaarschijnlijk je thermostaat. Kost rond de 2 tientjes bij de dealer en is vrij makkelijk te vervangen.

Ik ben Daan en heb op mijn 37-ste een van mijn jongensdromen verwezenlijkt: een eigen 190D.
Hij is uit 1984, en is in maart 2011 geïmporteerd uit Frankrijk. Het is een 2.0 met 5 versnellingen. Voelt lekker mechanisch. Ik rijd hem zakelijk, dus qua kosten vergelijkbaar met een fiets. Er staat nu 275k op de teller.

Als hij zich goed houdt en het bevalt, dan wil ik hem zeker gaan opknappen. Te beginnen met een nieuwe laag verf. Een vriend van mij in Portugal heeft een spuiterij (en ook een oude Mercedes) en doet het met liefde.

Er zullen zich wellicht wat mechanische probleempjes gaan voordoen, zo staat de oliedrukmeter pertinent op 2, en de temperatuurmeter komt op de snelweg niet boven de 50 graden. Maar dit, en waarschijnlijk nog vele andere vragen en antwoorden zal ik zeker ter sprake brengen op het forum.
