Ik ben Bart en heb een W201 2.6 sinds 2015.
Hiervoor heb ik een 170S-D gehad uit "54 maar daar moest nog zoveel aan gebeuren dat ik vanwege tijdgebrek hem toch maar beter een nieuw baasje gunde. En die was er hééél erg blij mee...
Na een zoek tocht van bijna 2 jaar hebben we een mooie 190E in ons bezit gekregen.
Gekocht van eerste eigenaar, een oud mannetje in Duitsland.
Auto had 12 jaar stil gestaan dus er moest wel even een sleutel op de motor en alle andere bewegende delen.
Toen dat klaar was kwam de auto probleemloos door de keuring en de volgende dag zijn we er mee naar Italië gereden.
Was wel een gokje natuurlijk, maar hij deed het perfect en we kwamen twee weken later zonder kleerscheuren weer thuis.
Af en toe vervang ik onderdelen simpelweg omdat ik het nu nog origineel kan krijgen. Vooral rubber en elektronica worden straks schaars.
En......Ethanolvrij tanken is een Must. Zo veel als mogelijk alle slangen vervangen.
Enfin, Het is een heerlijke auto en een grote vriend. Hij wordt lekker vertroeteld en in de vakanties mag die altijd mee.
