Hoe groter hoe duurder ze worden. Ik kijk er niet van op als men een eurootje of 600 neerlegt voor een stel goede (grote) keramische schijven. Uiteraard zul je daar ook nieuwe blokken en remklauwen voor moeten hebben aangezien we hier praten over andere temperaturen.

Anyway. De wheelcovers worden meestal afgeraden, omdat deze ervoor zorgen dat de blokken en schijven minder goed koelen. En hoe langer ze heet blijven, hoe sneller ze slijten en hoe eerder ze krom kunnen trekken. Je kunt dus beter zonder wheelcovers rijden en regelmatig de velgen schoonpoetsen. En wil je het echt goed doen: Krik eronder, wiel eraf, en dan met een heet sopje de remstof ervanaf schrobben.

Er is alleen 1 maar: ATE biedt ze zelf alleen aan voor de 190E 2.3-16, de 2.5-16 en de 2.5-16 Evolution: zie daarvoor pagina 40 van het volgende document:



Dat betekend dat je goed moet opletten als je ze tegenkomt voor een 190E of 190D: de kans bestaat dat het dan gaat om inferieure nagemaakte remblokken. (de link die jij geeft op Ebay geeft ook aan dat ze voor de 2.3-16 en 2.5-16 zijn en kunnen natuurlijk wel echt zijn).
