Boven de 4 plunjers zitten een getand asje. Als jij gas geeft neemt de brandstofpomp alle 4 de plunjers mee zodat alle 4 de cilinders dezelfde hoeveelheid brandstof toegedient krijgen. ze laten de brandstofhoeveel door en als jij je gas ineens terugneemt zakken ze weer waardoor de hoeveelheid brandstof die de brandstof pomp gaat wegpompen verminderd.

Wanneer het lek op m'n dieselpomp gedicht is met nieuwe rubberen en koperen ringetjes, hebben we het dan bijv. over het vervangen van de plunjers ?
