Wat zijn de eisen voor de op mijn auto aangebrachte verlichting?
Uw personenauto moet voorzien zijn van de verlichting zoals is vastgelegd in het Voertuigreglement. De eisen voor autolampen vindt u in artikel 5.2.51-5.2.65.


Naar bovenEisen voor verblindende koplampen
Sinds 1 januari 2006 moet uw auto als deze achteraf is voorzien van extra sterke koplampen (xenonlampen) aan dezelfde eisen voldoen als een auto die hiermee standaard is uitgerust.

Voor nieuwe auto's die vanaf 1 januari 2007 op kenteken worden gezet gelden strengere eisen voor het achteraf inbouwen van extra sterke koplampen, zogeheten xenonlampen. Het inbouwen van deze lampen is alleen toegestaan als ze aan bepaalde eisen voldoen.

Vanaf 1 mei 2009 mogen lichtarmaturen van voertuigen alleen voorzien zijn van het type lamp waarvoor ze zijn goedgekeurd. Zo moet in koplampen met een code HC, HR of HCR een halogeenlamp zitten.

Gasontladingslampen (xenonlampen) horen in armaturen met een code DC, DR of DCR. Gasontladingslampen geven veel meer licht dan halogeenlampen. Om te zorgen dat er geen weggebruikers door worden verblind, is het zeker voor gasontladingslampen van belang dat zij alleen worden gebruikt in speciaal daarvoor bestemde armaturen.

@ Dennis, je moet H4 BI-xenon hebben. Ga niet voor het eerste de beste setje, want schijnt nogal een verschil te zijn in kwaliteit

Graag wil ik mijzelf dit weekend tracteren op een setje Xenon verlichting. Dat bevalt me op de motor super en nu wil ik dat dus ook in de 190 hebben. Maar welk type gaat erin? Ik denk zelf het type H4 Bi-Xenon.
Klopt dit voor een '93'er 190 1.8?
