Blijkbaar kan je links en rechts verwisselen achteraan - niet bij stilgestaan - en de klauwen ondersteboven geplaatst. Gevolg nippel staat naar onder en al de lucht komt er niet uit.

De hoofdremcilinder geeft nog altijd het volle volume, echter slechts enkel aan de voorste helft van de auto. Logisch dat je pedaal dus hoger druk heeft. In theorie althans.

Ik zie ook behoorlijke speling tussen de blokken en de schijf van 1 tot zelf 2mm. Ik ben niet helemaal mee met dit verhaal en hoe dit nu weer kan. Ze werken wel degelijk want uiteindelijk blokkeren ze.

En wat moet ik me daar dan bij voorstellen ? Is dat iets dat afgesteld kan worden of losgemaakt kan/moet worden ?

Eerdaags gaan de wielen er af en ga ik de klauwen maar eens bekijken of er iets is dat de lange slag kan veroorzaken.

En hetzelfde. Op zich remt de auto goed. De wielen blokkeren bij hard remmen. Hij wijkt niet naar links of rechts maar de pedaal gaat bijna tot de vloer. Het geen sponzige pedaal, het is gewoon een hele afstand eer de remt aanpakt. Ook bij niet draaiende motor kan ik druk op de pedaal zetten zonder dat hij zakt.

Ik ben ten einde raad.... als ik op “W201 brake pedal travel” google zie ik dat ik niet de enige ben maar weinig concreets vind ik niet.

Ik kan alleen maar concluderen dat mijn hoofdremcilinder er daadwerkelijk met opgehouden is en ongevraagd remolie doorlaat naar het reservoir want lekken heb ik niet.

Goed opletten dat je het reservoir niet leegtrekt en dus op tijd bij vullen.
Ik heb zo'n setje al jaren en gebruik het voor zowel de motor als de auto.
