Na een proefrit hoorde we nog steeds gerammel bij 3000 toeren. Bij nadere inspectie bleek de stuurpomp ietwat axiale speling te hebben, is dat vaker een probleem bij de W201?

Wat me ook opviel was dat bij een koude motor, stationair draaiend, de economy meter niet op nul stond (helemaal links dus). Hij was er iets vanaf. Bij een klein beetje gas ging hij eerst naar 0 en daarna richting het rood. Stationair toerental was ook nog iets aan de lage kant (700-800) dus het zit nog niet helemaal lekker. Met een warme motor liep alles perfect op 1000 toeren en ook de economy meter.

Over het gespotte lek: volgens een vriend me die hielp leek het een waterpomp te zijn. En lekte er dus ook geen olie maar wat anders.

P.S.: Man man man wat leer ik een boel over autotechniek deze paar dagen. Geweldig!

Als ik je goed begrijp is de economy meter dus direct gelinkt aan de vacuüm? Die staat prima naar links volgensmij, ik zal het morgen nog even bekijken.

Ik zal de resultaten van de compressie test meedelen. Nadat de kleppen zijn gesteld

Een maat van me vertelde me dat er inderdaad olie lijkt te lekken bij de krukaskeering, zie foto's.
Het lekt sowieso niet bij de koppakking of de carterpan, maar het was wel vochtig bij de kleppendeksel.

Bij verdere inspectie bleek er nog een (vacuum)slangetje los te zitten bij de ..., deze hebben we weer vastgezet, maar dat loste het probleem van het afslaan van de motor nog niet direct op. En omdat er nog steeds olie uit druppelt, wilde ik nog niet rijden (normaal werd dit gedrag dus beter bij een warme motor).
